I don't PvP, so I must ask this...
How can you shut down Assassins and Warriors? Slow their attacks yes, with 1 faintheartedness (which only affects 1 character I believe), both professions can out damage your curses (even through incidious parasite).
You also only have 7 skills, I normally run 8.
Soul Barbs or Enfeebling Blood would be nice here.

Insid usually keeps them at bay, and while im not saying this is total shutdown, it usually handles a team well for support hate. its best at killing (as far as melee goes) sins and dervs, cuase they enchant/attack a lot

I'm a hex sin myself.
Oh, sorry, I forgot you had AND with Defile & Desecrate Enchantments, so that is the 8 skills.
Sounds good then.
In PvE, I don't run into too many heavily enchanted creatures, so my N/Me shatters enchantments and interupts. Slow casting spells can cause you problems when facing mesmers.

If you did pvp at least a tad bit, you'd know that Insidious Parasite does shutdown attackers tryin to kill you. Only a hammer warrior or derv could out damage Insidious, but even then they'll really be struggling. Assassins, sword/axe warriors, and rangers, don't stand a chance against Insious. Combine it with weakness, and they'll be healing you for alot.

Yeah, you are probably right. If I did PvP for a little bit, I'd see things much differently.
Did they change back weakness? During the testing, it was just -1 to all attributes right?
I don't run a 16 curse either, so how much do you heal per hit with IP?

A decent spike assassin is doing 400-450 damage in 4-5 hits, with curses at 16 insidious is doing something like 47 healing per hit? While that's cutting the damage in half it looks pretty close to the bone. Of course I'll have to give it a try out to see what it's like, I could be utterly wrong and it works a charm.

Don't forget about dual strikes. Once an assassin is done with his combo with IP on him, you'll mainly be taking damage from degen. He'll take a hefty amount of damage too. A few sins will usually keep hitting you after their combo to try and finish you off. That's when they really mess up, since daggers hit for very low amounts without any attack skills.....they won't always realize that they're hitting you with IP on them.
Weakness still adds -1 to attributes, but even before that buff, someone attacking you with IP + Weakness will be healing you for alot. I might say the spell is a tad bit overpowered now. At a 12sec recharge, you can keep it up on an attacker, and they'll never be able to kill you without any help.
